Here what our customers are saying about The FlowGuardian

Sept 12, 2007

John,

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you, but we have been out in the boat for the last 3 weeks.
Before we left on our cruise, I replaced my dockside water pressure regulator with a Jabsco Flush Mount Water Pressure Regulator Mfr # 444111045 and that solved the problem. We now get plenty of flow and the FlowGaurdian works fine. The original regulator was restricting the flow, causing the problem.
Now, when I hook up to dockside water, I set the FlowGaurdian at approximately 100 gal and it counts down as we use the water. I tested it by letting the water run in the galley and it shut off after approximately 15 minutes.
We rarely use that much water while at a given dock, so it does not interfere at all. However, I did learn to check the setting before taking a shower! After a long day of using water for cooking, washing dishes, etc., the water shut off right in the middle of my shower. My wife had to go out and reset the FlowGardian so I could finish.

Sincerely,
Jerry
